Description
The new EU Waste Shipment Regulation (EU) 2024/1157 has applied since 21 May 2026. Notifications and movement documents now go electronically through DIWASS, the European Commission's central system. Austria connects to it through eVerbringung in EDM. Every Green List shipment needs a contract, and deadlines run in working days.
This course explains the duties in short lessons, with the article for every statement and the BMLUK's clarifications. Every lesson has narrated slides, a checklist to tick off and a quiz question. It starts with which procedure applies and ends with the new rules for exports from the EU.
Who this course is for
- Waste collectors, disposal and recycling companies that send or take in waste across borders
- Waste dealers and brokers, exporters
- Carriers, who will make their own entries in DIWASS
- Waste officers and everyone who creates shipments in EDM
